New web site!

For those interested in my books and writing, please take a look at my other web site, http://stevebartholomew.com/

The new place is dedicated to books and publications only. The one you're in now has a bunch of different stuff. Or to put it more elegantly, miscellaneous material. This site began as a way to publish items that will probably never make it into print, and so it shall remain. Some of these items may seem dated, but I still get occasional feedback about them. I want to keep them available for those who may be interested. I may add new articles from time to time provided they are sufficiently weird, strange and unusual.

Be that as it may, I think I have everything working now. Please report any broken links to the Webmaster, namely me. To find out why I go to all this trouble, please read on.

I am told that in today's world I can not function without a blog. Every Blog must contain a mug shot of the author. Here, then, is a picture of me:

This web site is divided in two parts. First is where I have archived several articles dealing with archeology. Some of these have been previously published, but I want to keep them available on the webRocks

Also on this site are several articles which I hope you may find interesting. Some of them are the sort of stuff no editor in his right mind would want to publish, as well as a few historical notes.  Some Thoughts.
At present I am occupied mainly with writing books and tales of historical fiction, mainly of San Francisco, California and Nevada during the Gold Rush period. Of this labor I see no end in sight. Once again, if you should like to browse my books, please see www.stevebartholomew.com. Thanks for reading.
